Autoethnography: Studying Abroad



This project adapts most of the theory on education discussed in the seminar "Cultural Studies of Technology for Education", and is supposed to be an example of how to apply theory in practice; especially how to implement multiliteracy in class. Hence, I tried to combine as many technology tools as possible to create this autoethnographic video-essay. It soughts to depict how different kinds of technological features (e.g. websites, and apps) can be used to create an essay, somewhat different from a "normal" written essay. Moreover, it illustrates what is meant by the term "multiliteracy", as it is a project based on theory of multiliteracies, and how this can be useful for education. However, it is only one example of how to make use of different technology tools in education.
